cost: $325* (including room & meals) ($350 for single room)

800 wooded acres on a lake in Mundelein, Illinois (north of O’Hare airport)

*registrations received after April 12 will be charged a $50 late fee

·       Keynote by The Rev. Dr. Stephen Bouman, Director of Evangelical Outreach and Congregational Mission for the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and author of They Are Us (Augsburg Fortress 2009), a faith-based summons to immigration reform

·     Healthy Communities – aligning our issues and strategies.  Jeanne Ayers, Director of Nursing and Preventive Services, University of Minnesota

·    Training for using organizing skills to develop stronger, more powerful congregations.  GNCC Congregational Leadership Training Team

·    Immigration Reform: theology, testimonies, faith-based organizing strategies, and a clergy-led public action at an immigrant detention center     

·    Building synergistic relationships between Gamaliel clergy and organizers.  Rev. Kevin Agee and Andres Dae Keun Kwon

This training welcomes all clergy and religious leaders, regardless of level of prior training experience, including a range from seasoned clergy to those in the recruitment process.  Organizers are urged to accompany their clergy leaders.
