| Community organizing has come of age. Gamaliel Network organizers work tirelessly behind the scenes. They train and raise up community leaders to take center stage to improve life for their members. Our members come primarily from faith communities. They are primarily Christian including historic African American Churches, Protestant, and Roman Catholic. But increasingly connectional churches, as well as Muslim and Jewish congregations find our non-partisan organizing helpful. Mostly our members love the way our local affiliates bring people together for the sake of their communities. Our multi-faith, multi-ethnic, multi-political, multi-cultural rooms create energy for the common good. Because no one person or organization can begin to address issues affecting our common life today, we are learning to make strong alliances and partnerships. | |||||||
