A lifelong Pittsburgh resident, Rev. Dr. John Welch is the Chairman of Gamaliel’s Board of Directors and the former President of Gamaliel Affiliate Pennsylvania Interfaith Impact Network (PIIN). He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, an M. Div., and a Ph.D. in Healthcare Ethics. He pastored Bidwell United Presbyterian Church from 1999 to 2006. Dr. Welch also ran for mayor in Pittsburgh in 2017 to bring attention to vital issues in his community, particularly housing and gentrification.

Catoya Roberts is the Deputy Director of Campaigns for the Advancement Project National Office and an associate minister at New Covenant Baptist Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She previously served as an associate director at WISDOM, Gamaliel's statewide affiliate in Wisconsin, and is currently Chair of Gamaliel Faith and Democracy, a 501c(4) organization. Catoya was appointed to represent the people of Wisconsin on the Public Health Commission and takes part in the Robert Wood Johnson Culture of Health Leaders Program. She has been an organizer for more than 10 years, and serves as a trainer and facilitator for issue areas including mass incarceration, civic engagement, youth organizing, health equity and race equity.

Gary Enrique Bradley-Lopez is a proud community organizer for MORE² in Kansas City. Gary has been politically aware since his mothers' deportation in 2007, and he has been politically active since 2017 when he became one of the most active student senate presidents at Kansas City Kansas Community College (KCKCC). Born and raised in the Kansas City Metro Area, Gary is excited to continue organizing in his hometown and receiving training, development and cultural opportunities through Gamaliel Network. He looks forward to taking time to learn, mobilize, and assist leaders to create a more equitable Kansas City.
