Gamaliel's "Fire of Faith:  Rekindling Our Congregations, Rekindling Our Economy, Rekindling Our Democracy" seeks to move 1 million people nationwide into living wage jobs by 2015.  Launched officially at public meetings held in the fall of 2012 by its affiliates across the country, the campaign draws upon recent network successes negotiating equitable, cost effective funding of transportation-related legislation.  The resulting model has already directed $16.6 billion into infrastructure development, education and transit that created and saved over 639,000 jobs, benefiting families historically left out of economic development opportunities available in their own communities.   Gamaliel’s Community Organizing As Job Creator: An Investment That Works For All provides the framework, case studies and documentation for these victories.
